2017 In Review: A Message From Our CEO
We’ve wrapped another great year here at KASA. As we look back on 2017, it is exciting to see the growth and change in our company and the many therapists we work with. We frequently receive messages from you — our users — letting us know that our services help you accomplish your goals and dreams — whether it be to finally take the leap and start a practice, or to grow from a single provider to a group practice.
We’re honored and humbled by the trust and confidence you have placed in KASA this last year, and we’re excited for what 2018 has in store.
Looking Back on 2017
In 2017, we outpaced our projected growth for the year. We’re now home to over 40 team members in our Cedar Rapids office, and we’re eyeing an expansion to be able to continue to house our ever-growing team. We finished 2017 by adding to both our Sales and Software teams, giving us more bandwidth to roll out new features.
We have expanded our Credentialing and Contracting services, and have seen interest in this service continue to grow throughout the year. Meanwhile, our Billing team saw the biggest growth this year, and we are expanding our team that focuses on mid-size agencies and large group practices going into 2018.
We also enjoyed a year with more than 99.5% uptime and we continue to invest in our infrastructure and security in order to ensure that your information remains confidential and secure.
Our team was able to take advantage this year of the comfort of a therapy dog who visited our office for an afternoon, complimentary massages in the office, volunteer opportunities with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Salvation Army, and more potlucks than we care to admit to!
It was a great year, and was closed out with many Holiday cards, thank you notes, and gift baskets from you. We’re very grateful for your generosity toward our team as you ended 2017.
Looking Forward into 2018
What we are most excited about for 2018 is some significant updates to our software. We spent much of 2017 strategizing and developing a new and improved software for you to use. We are continuing to work on this going into 2018, and anticipate that we will roll out a significantly updated platform for our users later this year.
Our new software will include a vastly improved patient portal, more intuitive messaging, fully customizable note templates, and a more modern feel throughout the application. We can’t wait to show you what we’re building!
We anticipate continued growth and partnering with more therapists seeking to start or grow their practice. We are proud of the company we are building, and as our staff can attest, we are so proud to be making a difference in your lives and the lives of your clients.
